Each member needs to have an individual membership account, even in your own “scheme”. This is mandatory and in terms of yours or your member's affiliation agreement.
Amongst other reasons:
- it controls the amount of bookings an individual may make at key properties (see here for more information: https://support.iexchange.net/support/solutions/articles/2044000001836-booking-limit-key-properties). If bookings are made on a single bulk account, this rule soon prevents further bookings in such key properties.
- guests are correctly welcomed (by own name) at our affiliate properties
- many resorts have automated welcome or guest notification procedures, so if contact details are not (securely) shared, these procedures fail, leading to a less professional check-in (etc).
It takes less than a minute to create, once off, and all transactions thereon would be made on the member's same account.
